Bullet Trains to Beijing or Shanghai Debut from Chengdu or Chongqing

High-speed trains started running between Chengdu and Beijing, Chengdu and Shanghai, Chongqing and Beijing and Chongqing and Shanghai on the eleventh this month, making significant reduction in the journey time between the cities.

 

Bullet Trains from Chengdu to Beijing and from Chengdu to Shanghai

The high-speed sleeper train from Chengdu to Beijing is D318. It departs from Chengdu at 15:50 and arrived in Beijing at 07:30 the next morning with a total time of 15 hours 40 minutes. The train stops at two intermediate stations — Nanchong and Shijiangzhuang — before arriving at Beijing West Railway Station. The soft seat is RMB 430, the lower soft berth is RMB 1,045 and the upper soft berth is RMB 930.

 

The high-speed sleeper train from Chengdu to Shanghai is D358. It leaves Chengdu at 17:15 and arrives in Shanghai at 08:50 the next morning with a total time of 15 hours 35 minutes. The route has four intermediate stops — Nanchong, Hefei, Nanjing, and Suzhou — before arriving at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station. The soft seat is RMB 501, the lower soft berth is RMB 1,165 and the upper soft berth is RMB 1,035.

 

Bullet Trains from Chongqing to Beijing and from Chongqing to Shanghai

The bullet train with sleeping berth from Chongqing North Station to Beijing West Station is D320, departing at 16:15 and arriving at 7:25 the next morning with a total time of 15 hours and 10 minutes. The second-rate soft seat is RMB 399, the lower soft berth is RMB 975, the upper soft berth is RMB 870, and the train stops at the stations of Dazhou, Shijiazhuang and Baoding.


The bullet train with sleeping berth from Chongqing North Station to Shanghai Hongqiao Station is D354, departing at 18:10 and arriving at 8:55 the next morning with a total time of 14 hours and 45 minutes. The second-rate soft seat is RMB 473, the lower soft berth is RMB 1,100, the upper soft berth is RMB 980, and the train stops at Dazhou, Hefei, Nanjing and Wuxi.


 

Moreover, passengers can buy tickets up to 20 days in advance of their journey and the tickets go on sale at 15:00 every day.
