China Eastern Airlines will start operation for the direct round-trip flights between China and Egypt from December 11, 2023. It will open the first route to Cairo, North African city from Shanghai, China.
The Shanghai-Cairo route would operate three return flights a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays(local time).
The Shanghai-Cairo flights are scheduled to depart from Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 00:30am(local time) and arrive at Cairo International Airport at 08:00am(local time), while the return flights from Cairo are scheduled to depart at 12:30pm and return to Pudong at 05:30am the following day(local time).
