New direct flight to link Wuhan and Istanbul

According to China Southern Airlines, the capital city of Hubei Province - Wuhan will be linked with Istanbul - the economic, government, culture and transportation center in Turkey, by a new direct air route. The flight will start operation since May 29th on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

 

The flight will be operated by Boeing 787 Aircraft. The flight CZ8341 will leave Wuhan Tianhe International Airport at 15:35 Beijing time. After 10.5 hours’ flight time, it will arrive in Atatürk International Airport at 21:00 local time. The return flight CZ8342 will leave Istanbul at 23:20 local time. It will arrive in Wuhan at 13:20 (+1) Beijing time.

 

Wuhan is a historical city in Hubei Province. The Yangtze River divides Wuchang into three towns: Wuchang, Hankou and Hanyang, which were eventually amalgamated to make ‘Wuhan Three Towns’. The historic relics in the city show that the city's long history can be dated back to 3,500 years ago. The most famous visiting the in Wuhan is the Yellow Crane Tower, which was first built in 223 BC and gained fame throughout China through the poetry of Cui Hao during the Tang Dynasty.
