Sichuan Airlines Company Limited has launched a new route from Lhasa to Xi'an via Xining.
The airline will operate the new route with Airbus A319 aircraft. Flights will depart Xi'an at 07:50 and arrive in Xi Ning at 09:10, then leave Xining at 10:00 and arrive in Lhasa at 12:30. Return flights will take off at 13:20 and arrive in Xi Ning at 15:30, then leave Xining at 16:20 and arrive in Xi'an at 17:35.
The regional carrier said that the new flight will serve as an air bridge linking Tibet and such cities in northwest China, as Urumqi, Yinchuan, and Lanzhou.
