The first Chinese-made large passenger aircraft of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd(COMAC) , the C919, has received its type certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). The certification was issued at a grand ceremony on 29 September in Beijing Capital Airport, marking the beginning of China’s entry into the broader commercial aviation market.
